Community Guidelines
Rules that keep the WizNova™ JEE Forum safe, respectful, and useful for every aspirant
Effective date: 26 September 2026
1.The Spirit of This Community
The WizNova™ JEE Forum exists for one purpose: to help JEE aspirants across India learn from each other, share knowledge, and navigate one of the most challenging journeys of their lives — together.
Every person on this Forum is either preparing for JEE, has been through it, or is helping others through it. Treat every member with the respect you would want for yourself.
The golden rule: Post only what you would be comfortable saying in a classroom full of students, teachers, and parents.
2.What We Encourage
This Forum thrives when members:
- Ask clear, specific questions about JEE Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
- Share detailed, well-explained answers and solutions
- Discuss JEE preparation strategies, study plans, and resources
- Share authentic experiences about JEE results, ranks, and counselling
- Discuss IIT, NIT, IIIT, and other college options with factual information
- Share JoSAA and CSAB counselling experiences and tips
- Post news and updates about JEE (with source links)
- Encourage and support fellow aspirants
- Correct misinformation politely and with evidence
- Upload relevant images (question papers, diagrams, graphs) to support discussions
3.What Is Strictly Prohibited
The following content will be removed and may result in account suspension or permanent ban:
Harmful and Illegal Content
- Content that is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit in any form
- Any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children (CSAM) — this will be reported to law enforcement immediately
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence, self-harm, or suicide
- Content that threatens, intimidates, or harasses any individual
- Content that promotes terrorism, extremism, or violence against any group
- Content that threatens national security, public order, or India's sovereignty
Discrimination and Hate
- Content that is hateful, discriminatory, or derogatory based on caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, region, language, or ethnicity
- Casteist slurs or remarks targeting any community
- Content that demeans or stereotypes students from any state, board, or background
Privacy Violations
- Posting another person's personal information without consent (name, address, phone, email, photograph, rank, roll number)
- Sharing screenshots of private conversations without consent
- Attempting to identify or "dox" any anonymous user
Misinformation and Impersonation
- Deliberately posting false or misleading examination information (fake cut-offs, fake results, fake rank lists)
- Impersonating NTA, JEE authorities, IITs, NITs, IIITs, JoSAA, or any official body
- Impersonating another student, teacher, or public figure
- Creating fake accounts or operating multiple accounts
Spam and Commercial Activity
- Advertising coaching institutes, courses, books, or services without authorisation
- Posting referral links, affiliate links, or promotional codes
- Repetitive posting of the same content across multiple threads
- Soliciting money, donations, or paid services from other users
Security Threats
- Posting malware, viruses, phishing links, or malicious code
- Attempting to hack, scrape, or disrupt the Forum
- Sharing links to pirated content or illegal downloads
Copyright Infringement
- Posting complete question papers, books, or study materials that are under copyright without permission
- Reproducing substantial portions of copyrighted content without attribution
4.Image Upload Rules
You may upload images to support your posts and comments. Images must:
- Be directly relevant to the discussion (question diagrams, graphs, screenshots of problems)
- Not contain personal information of any person without their consent
- Not be obscene, violent, or otherwise prohibited under these Guidelines
- Be under 10 MB each; maximum 3 images per post or comment
Do not upload images of answer sheets, mark sheets, or admit cards that contain personal information.
5.Examination Information Standards
The Forum is frequently used to discuss JEE results, cut-offs, ranks, and counselling. Please follow these standards:
- Always cite the source when sharing examination data (NTA website, JoSAA portal, official press release)
- Clearly label your information as personal experience, estimate, or official data
- Do not present unofficial predictions as confirmed facts
- Do not share unverified "leaked" question papers or answer keys
- Correct misinformation you see — but do so politely and with evidence
6.How to Report Violations
Every post and comment has a "Report" button. Use it if you see content that violates these Guidelines. When reporting:
- Select the most accurate reason from the list provided
- Do not abuse the report function to target users you disagree with
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24–72 hours
For urgent matters (child safety, credible threats of violence), email us immediately at [email protected].
7.Consequences of Violations
Violations of these Guidelines may result in:
- Content removal without notice
- A formal warning
- Temporary suspension (1–30 days)
- Permanent ban from the Forum
- Reporting to law enforcement for serious violations (CSAM, credible threats, fraud)
